Monday, April 13
Arriving in Osaka, the person meeting the group at the airport is waiting at the arrival area. He will take you to the hotel. Welcome dinner to be served at a nearby restaurant.
Tuesday, April 14
Today, you have a city tour of Osaka with a visit to its several famous attractions. You’ll get a great overview of the city and its culture by exploring sites like historic Osaka Castle and bustling Dotonbori. The stops cover a wide variety of interests-foodies will love Kuromon market also known as “Osaka’s Kitchen”.
Also, enjoy the panoramic view at Umeda Observatory Building. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Wednesday, April 15
Embark on a tour of Nara’s rich heritage. Visit two UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES: Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine and interact with the sacred wild deer of Nara Park believed to be divine messengers for over 1,200 years. The stop will stop at Kofuku –ji Temple, known for its five-story pagoda then continues to Todai-ji Temple where you’ll see the awe inspiring Great Buddha statue. Next, enjoy panoramic views from Nigetsu-do Temple and walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine famous for its lanterns and deer. After exploring Nara Park, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Thursday, April 16
Today, you will have a unique experience being a local in Kyoto. Visit the Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Built on a hillside with sweeping panoramic views, this temple is surrounded by cherry trees that frame the pagodas and valley. Late season blossoms and green foliage blend beautifully this time of the year. They will visit the Gion District, where you can see historic streets lined with wooden teahouses, lingering cherry blossoms arching over narrow lanes. The gentle blossoms add romance to Kyoto’s traditional atmosphere. This is your chance to wear a traditional Kimono and walk around the Gion District, taking photos at your favorite spot in the park. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Friday, April 17
You will check-out from the hotel and will be transferred to the Bullet train station. Enjoy the ride from Osaka to Tokyo. As the train speeds across the countryside, you may spot pockets of late blooming cherry trees in small towns and rural landscapes. Sakura views depend on weather and local elevation but at this time of the year, it offers scenic glimpses of spring countryside colors.
Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met by the tour guide and take you to the hotel.

Saturday, April 18
Discover Tokyo’s must see landmarks today. You will visit the Tokyo Skytree, a broadcasting and observation tower standing at a height of 634 meters, the tallest in Japan. See the very famous Shibuya crossing and Hachiko statue. The tour will also pass by Ueno Park, a very popular spot for cherry blossoms viewing especially along central Sakura-dori Avenue. Get to visit the Asakusa (Senso-ji Temple). At this time of the year, the grounds are sprinkled with carefully placed cherry trees. Combined with the five story pagoda and traditional market street, this creates a lively spring atmosphere even after peak bloom. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Sunday, April 19
You will have a chance to see an excellent view of Mount Fuji on a clear day from Lake Kawaguchi. The place adorned with several cherry trees line the northern lakeshore with Mt. Fuji rising behind them considered as one of Japan’s most photographed spring scenes. The tour will visit the Oshino Hakkai, a charming traditional village with clear spring ponds, thatched-roof homes and seasonal cherry blossoms. With Mt. Fuji is visible when the weather is clear, this stop offers a peaceful and very Japanese spring atmosphere. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Monday, April 20
Enjoy Tokyo on your own. You may do restaurant hopping or enjoy shopping for local products only you can find in Japan.
Tuesday, April 21
Check-out hotel, transfer to the airport. Flight back home.
